Nurse Clinics

child_sore_throatOur nurses are trained to treat minor illnesses and patients should seek to see a nurse for such conditions this gives the doctors more time to deal with complex medical conditions. Some of the ailments the nurses can deal with are as follows:    

  • Cystitis, urine infection
  • Ear infection, pain
  • Eye infection
  • Boils, abscesses, cellulitis and skin infections
  • Ingrowing toenails
  • Contraceptive Pill check and emergency contraception
  • Hay fever
  • Sore throat, Tonsillitis

Please note that none of the doctors are trained on homeopathy and will not usually expect to give homeopathic medication.

Smoking Cessation

It is never too late to give up smoking.  Our practice nurse Kevin and Health Care Assistant Nick are fully trained to help you give up.  They can give you the information you need and provide you with the nicotine replacement products that are suitable for you. You can see them on a regular basis in order to get the support you need.
