Very good practice

I had major heart surgery lately and found that as usual all the staff at the practice were so good,,,,,at one time i needed to see a nurse daily for weeks ,I was really well looked after in every way , I find all members of staff so polite and helpful,,i’m so grateful i’m a patient at this practice

Excellent service

I have been registered with this practice since I was born (55 years) starting at the old surgery in Queens Avenue then moving onto the facility in Catts Alley. I don't normally write reviews about anything but after receiving great service I felt I had to especially now I have read some of the negative reviews on here.
I don't normally visit the surgery unless I really have to but have used it a few times in the last six months and three times in the last month. These last three times have been 'on the day appointments' and I have had no trouble getting through on the phone and the most time I have held on for is about 10 mins. I don't really like being asked by the receptionist what the problem is but I do understand why it has to be done. Each time the doctor has called me back promptly and I have needed to go to the surgery on two of those occasions. I always go expecting to wait over my appointment time considering the size of Snodlands population now and not many gps to look after them all, so its always a pleasant surprise if I get in on time or even earlier than I was expecting.
I have always found all staff, from the receptionist and nurses to the doctors to be polite,friendly and professional and never feel as if I am wasting their time or if I have to hurry up. I always find my gp to be caring and kind and someone who listens properly. they are the best doctor I have had.

Supportive caring staff

My partner and I have been patients at this practice for 12 years. We have always recieved care in a supportive and professional way . Sometimes there are long waits after appointment times to be seen but the consultations have never been rushed and the doctors give as much time as needed to ensure appropriate care is given.
As a health care professional, having worked in the NHS for over 40 years I have been impressed by the care I have recieved by all the staff I have encountered but in particular by one doctor who sadly has now left the practice.

Excellent Dr and polite receptionists

My elderly and poorly father uses this surgery - as well as other family members.

My father is treated with dignity and respect, despite his age, everything possible by his DR. and the NHS is being done to treat his medical condition and give him extended life.

i agree the switchboard is busy but too many patients to see and mend and not enough drs! Not their fault
